Conduct Projects Limited (CPL) has been delivering interior fitout solutions to the Auckland commercial market since 2012. As specialists in medical and educational environments, our team brings more than 35 years of construction experience across the Tāmaki Makaurau region — from Albany in the north to Bombay in the south.

Our reputation is built on consistently delivering high‑quality, purpose‑driven fitouts that meet client needs, on time and to budget. We pride ourselves on combining our technical expertise with a collaborative approach, to create spaces that perform as well as they look.

Our team brings a range of expertise in contract management, quantity surveying, site management and health and safety management. We work alongside our longstanding team of trusted sub-contractors to deliver a seamless, end-to-end service backed by skilled tradespeople with standards that match our own.

Mark Rutherford

Director, Contract Manager

Mark founded Conduct Projects in 2012. He is a seasoned Contract Manager with over 20 years’ experience in medical and education fit-outs. Originally trained as a Quantity Surveyor, he brings over 35 years of construction industry experience across a broad range of sectors. Mark places strong emphasis on building trusted, enduring relationships and ensuring all stakeholders’ perspectives are heard and considered. He is highly skilled in navigating and resolving complex project issues and is known for his approachability, responsiveness, and balanced approach when working with both clients and contractors.

Richard Galang

Site Supervisor

Richard trained in Business Management, before transitioning into project management over 10 years ago. During this time, he has managed and overseen multiple residential, industrial, and commercial projects, from quotation through to final handover. Since joining Conduct Projects in 2018, Richard has gained extensive experience delivering refurbishment projects within healthcare and education environments. He is highly capable of managing project programmes and deadlines and is known for building strong, collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Site Supervisor

Originally from a trade background, Steve brings extensive hands-on construction experience and a practical, solutions-focused approach to every project. He is highly regarded for his ability to resolve onsite challenges and work collaboratively with designers to develop cost-effective, buildable solutions. Since joining Conduct Projects in 2018, Steve has successfully led the delivery of a wide range of refurbishment projects across healthcare and education facilities. He brings broad expertise in construction management, project management, contract administration, and pre- and post-tender management, helping clients achieve successful project outcomes with minimal disruption.

Kerrie Rutherford

Administration Manager

Originally from a financial services background, Kerrie completed a Diploma in Landscape Design, and joined her husband, Mark in establishing Conduct Projects in 2012. Alongside her business and financial management role, Kerrie has also led Conduct Projects’ health and safety function for over 14 years, managing the company’s health and safety policies and procedures to ensure consistent compliance and best practice across all projects. She brings extensive expertise in risk management and strong capability in developing robust systems, processes, and methodologies that support safe and efficient project delivery.
